Fuel, LPG & CNG station automation

Cloud-Based Fuel and LPG Station Automation

i-Digital builds fuel station automation: the hardware and the software that run petrol, LPG and CNG stations end to end — forecourt control, tank gauging, truck delivery, terminal operations and payments. Our systems run in more than 32 countries, with 450+ sites automated.

One platform

One platform for the whole fuel business.

Stations, tanks, trucks, terminals and head offices all report into the same cloud platform. Owners see sales, stock and alarms live, head offices see every site, and every litre is accounted for.

Most fuel businesses add automation in stages rather than in one purchase. A station starts with a forecourt controller, then tank gauging, then payment terminals; a distributor adds delivery automation and later a terminal system. Because every module writes into the same data layer, each step adds to one operating picture instead of creating another system to reconcile.

Fuel is sold by measurement, so dispenser and tank data has to survive a particular level of scrutiny: OIML R 117, the international recommendation for dynamic measuring systems for liquids other than water, covers fuel dispensers, LPG dispensers and measuring systems on road tankers.

Two questions decide whether a station’s own numbers can be trusted: how accurately the tank is measured, and how quickly the reading arrives. i-LS probes measure product level and the water interface to ±0.5 mm with ±0.05 mm resolution, and readings and transactions reach the cloud platform as they happen, where the site and the head office read the same record.

Platform

Built for every part of the operation

Each module solves one job completely — and shares the same data with the rest of the platform.

What fuel station automation covers at a station

Fuel station automation is usually bought in a sequence, not as one package: the forecourt controller and the tank gauging first, because they produce the sales and the stock numbers; delivery and terminal automation next, once those numbers are trusted. Each module below does one job completely and hands its output to the others instead of keeping it.

The same rule applies to the hardware. i-Console runs on embedded hardware built for a forecourt cabinet rather than on a PC, which is why the controller does not share the virus and operating-system failure modes of PC-based station systems. That matters more than any feature list: it is the difference between a station that keeps dispensing and a station that takes orders by hand.

Integration is the other half of the work. Dispensers, tank gauges, payment terminals and back-office systems are integrated rather than replaced wherever possible, so a station can be modernised in stages without stopping trade.

Forecourt control

i-Console

A forecourt controller that manages dispensers, pumps, tanks, payments and loyalty from one dashboard — on site or from the cloud.

  • Runs on embedded in-house hardware — no PC, no operating system crashes
  • Controls all major dispenser and pump protocols
  • Live sales, stock and alarms streamed to the cloud

Tank gauging & wet stock

i-Level ATG with i-LS probes

Automatic tank gauging with magnetostrictive probes that measure product level and the water interface continuously.

  • ±0.5 mm level accuracy on product and water
  • Automatic leak detection and stock reconciliation
  • Wet stock reports per tank, per shift, per site

Delivery

i-Truck

Automates LPG and fuel deliveries from the terminal gate to the customer tank, with the paperwork replaced by live data.

  • Driver and customer identification at every drop
  • Electronic register control and GPS geo-fencing
  • Live delivery reporting to the cloud

See i-Digital automation in action

A short look at how i-Digital systems connect the forecourt, the tank farm, the delivery fleet and the head office.

Watch for three things in it: where the sale is recorded, where the tank level changes, and when the head office sees both. Those three moments are the test of any fuel management system, cloud-based or not.

If you would rather test the architecture against your own site, tell us the dispenser brands, the tank count and the back-office software you run today, and the engineering team will walk through the same flow with them.

Driving success in numbers

These are the counters we can stand behind: how far the systems reach, how many sites run them, how many identification tags are in circulation and how many trucks report into the delivery platform.

Countries and sites are not decoration. Working in more than 32 countries is the reason the controller handles a range of dispenser and pump protocols, and why the LPG panel reads tank levels through both LPG level probes and Rochester gauges: customer equipment differs from market to market.

The other two figures show how far the platform reaches beyond the forecourt. 150+ trucks are connected to the delivery automation, and more than 250,000 loyalty tags have been issued to customers who identify themselves at the pump.

Also in the product family

The four blocks above cover the main jobs. The five below are the parts that sit around them: the probe under the tank gauge, the panel that runs an LPG station, the terminal that takes the payment, the reader that identifies the customer, and the cloud platform the owner and the head office open in the morning.

They are modules of the same platform, not a second product line. A station can start with one and add the others when the need appears — the data still lands in the same account.

Frequently asked questions

What does i-Digital do?

i-Digital A.Ş. builds automation systems for fuel, LPG and CNG stations and terminals: cloud-based forecourt controllers, automatic tank gauging, truck delivery automation, terminal automation and payment terminals. Both the hardware and the software are developed in-house.

Which countries do you operate in?

i-Digital systems run in more than 32 countries, with 450+ sites automated and 150+ trucks connected to the delivery platform.

Can your systems work with our existing station equipment?

Yes. i-Digital systems are designed to integrate with existing station infrastructure — dispensers, tank gauges, payment terminals and back-office systems — so a station can be modernised in stages instead of replacing everything at once.

Do you supply the hardware as well as the software?

Yes. We design and manufacture IoT-enabled embedded hardware in-house, including forecourt controllers and register boards. That is why our systems avoid the virus attacks and operating system crashes that affect PC-based station solutions.

How is the data managed?

Stations, tanks and trucks report into cloud platforms. Owners see real-time sales, stock, deliveries and alarms in one place, and head offices get consolidated reporting across all sites.

What does fuel station automation include?

At minimum a forecourt controller that runs the dispensers and records the sales, and tank gauging that keeps product level, water and stock figures current. Most projects then add payment terminals, RFID identification at the pump, truck delivery automation and terminal or depot systems. We supply the hardware, the firmware and the cloud software for all of them.

Transform your fuel business with our solutions.

Tell us about your stations, terminals or fleet — we will show you what can be automated first.

A useful first message is short: your country, what you operate — station, terminal or fleet — the equipment you already run, and what you want under control. That is enough for the team to come back with a concrete proposal.
